The Rabi potato schedule
1. Seed tuber treatment (day 0, before planting)

Never use chlorinated water, and never combine this with a fungicide dip in the same tank — the fungicide will kill the culture. Keep the two operations at least 24 hours apart.
2. At planting / furrow application (day 0)
Furrow-place 100 g of Mycorrhiza VAM powder per acre, mixed into 40–50 kg of well-rotted FYM or vermicompost as a carrier, placed close to the seed piece. VAM must physically contact young roots to colonise — surface broadcasting on bare soil wastes it. This is a one-time application; the colony persists through the season.
3. First earthing-up (25–30 days after planting)
Apply 2 litres of NPK Consortia per acre through drip, or mixed with irrigation water at the first earthing-up. Reduce your planned DAP by 40% from this point.
