Thiobacillus thiooxidans (SF-BS) oxidises elemental and insoluble sulphur compounds into plant-available sulphate (SO₄²⁻). Sulphur deficiency affects over 40% of Indian soils and severely impacts oilseeds, pulses and cruciferous vegetables. SF-BS corrects this deficiency biologically — reducing SSP/gypsum cost by 20–30% while improving protein content and oil yield.
