Tea Special Mother Culture is a concentrated, ready-to-mix powder of the Orgogrowth tea consortium. One 1 kg pouch is mixed with water at the garden and gives 50 L of liquid biofertilizer, enough for 50 acres of tea. It is light to carry, easy to store, and costs about ₹60 per acre per application.

Rule of thumb: 20 g powder in 1 L water for every acre. Use a clean drum and non-chlorinated water (well, borewell or tank water).
How to apply

Soil drench: mix 1 L of the prepared liquid in 200 L water and drench along the bush rows, near the root zone.

With manure: mix 1 L of the prepared liquid in 50–100 kg well-decomposed FYM, compost or vermicompost and broadcast near the roots.

Drip: add 1 L of the prepared liquid per acre to the drip or venturi tank.
Apply on moist soil, in the morning or evening. Mix only what you need for the day and keep the remaining powder sealed.
When to apply
- Start with the first rains or the first irrigation of the season
- Repeat every month for best results
Precaution: Do not mix with chemical fungicides, bactericides or pesticides. Keep a 15-day gap between chemical sprays or drenches and this application.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the zip pouch after every use. Shelf life: 12 months from manufacture.
