Banana Special Mother Culture is a concentrated, ready-to-mix powder of the Orgogrowth banana consortium. One 1 kg pouch is mixed with water on your farm and gives enough solution for 2,000 plants. It is light to carry, easy to store, and costs about ₹1.50 per plant per application.

Rule of thumb: 1 L of solution per plant. Use a clean drum and non-chlorinated water (well, borewell or tank water).
How to apply
- Make a shallow basin around the plant.
- Make sure the soil is moist (after rain or irrigation).
- Pour 1 L of the solution evenly around the base, preferably in the morning or evening.
- Cover lightly with soil or mulch to protect the microbes from sun.
Mix fresh on the day you apply.
When to apply
- First dose at planting, or within 30 days after planting
- Repeat every month for best results
Precaution: Do not mix with chemical fungicides, bactericides or pesticides. Keep a 15-day gap between chemical sprays or drenches and this application.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the zip pouch after every use. Shelf life: 12 months from manufacture.
