Mycorrhiza (VAM) Mother Culture is a concentrated, ready-to-mix powder of root-colonising mycorrhiza. One 1 kg pouch is mixed with water on your farm and gives 50 L of liquid biofertilizer, enough for 50 acres. It is light to carry, easy to store, and costs about ₹60 per acre per application.
Suitable crops: vegetables, potato, sugarcane, cotton, pulses, oilseeds and transplanted crops.

Rule of thumb: 20 g powder in 1 L water for every acre. Use a clean drum and non-chlorinated water (well, borewell or tank water).
How to apply

Drip: add 1 L of the prepared liquid per acre to the drip or venturi tank.

Soil drench: mix 1 L of the prepared liquid in 200 L water and drench along the rows, close to the roots.

With manure: mix 1 L of the prepared liquid in 50–100 kg well-decomposed FYM or compost and broadcast near the roots.
Apply on moist soil, in the morning or evening. Mix only what you need for the day and keep the remaining powder sealed.
When to apply
- At sowing or transplanting, or with the first irrigation – early application matters most
- Repeat after 30 days
Precaution: Do not mix with chemical fungicides or pesticides. Keep a 15-day gap between chemical sprays or drenches and this application.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the zip pouch after every use. Shelf life: 12 months from manufacture.
